My name is Lucía Ábalos and I am an English Primary school teacher, as well as a University Professor. I have been always delivering English lessons to young children from 3 to 13 years old and to university students and adults.
At school I usually teach science, arts and crafts and social and civic values, all of them delivered in English language.
I love making m,y students feel enthusiastic about English language, by motivating them and preparing dynamic and interactive lesson where they can enjoy themselves as well as learn by interacting with one another.
At university I usually teach two subjects: reading and writing and English language teaching methodology and learning strategies.
I always try to show my students, with some theoretical explanations and a wide variety of practical activities what an English teacher should be like! I have been delivering a wide range of subjects to different students for three years in this university, but I am also an English primary school teacher currently working in a Bilingual Primary State School in Madrid.
Since I have graduated, I have worked as a primary school teacher in England, UK, for more than three years, where I got my QTS certificate and an amazing experience receiving and delivering courses and conferences to teachers all around the UK. As I came back to Spain, I passed my public examinations to work as a teacher in state schools and I graduated from educational psychology.
I consider myself a very systematic and organized person who likes the students to make the most of their creativity in every subject I teach, innovation is the key!!!!
I strongly believe my students love my lessons because they learn by doing and having fun. I love my job!!!
